My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by COVID-19 and those affected by the subsequent lack of available basic food products. I ask you to please NOT hoard food and basic necessities, and to think of our neighbors who may have a compromised immune system and are unable to wait in line for hours in a public setting.
I ask that you think of people like my Chief of Staff’s mother, who just completed Chemotherapy. She is too sick and weak to be able to stand in line for hours for a can of soup or a package of toilet paper. I ask that you think of our friends and neighbors and join me in supporting them now. I know it is difficult to ask you to part with resources during this time, but if we all gave one can of soup, think of the difference that could make for our seniors.
Please consider making a donation to my food drive. We will get through this together as a community by supporting one another.
