Senator Chang and La Brea Bakery Partner Again to Distribute 26,000 Pounds of Food for Families and Non-profits in Senate District 29

SACRAMENTO, CA – Following the success of the first food distribution event and the continual need to help her constituents, Senator Ling Ling Chang (R-Diamond Bar) and La Brea Bakery are teaming up once more to distribute more than 26,000 pounds of bread, which is nearly three times the amount of food that was distributed at the first event. La Brea Bakery is a longtime business in Anaheim, which is part of Senate District 29.

More than 30 different organizations will benefit from the food distribution including senior citizen centers, food banks, community resource centers, community colleges, school districts, and churches in Senate District 29.      

To ensure the practice of physical distancing, interested organizations and individuals need to schedule an appointment at to pick-up the food.
